Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced accounting manager to manage all day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping and payroll activities.



  • Manages all bookkeeping and accounting monthly tasks on NetSuite:

Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, bank reconciliations etc.

  • Manage close process, including close calendar and checklist, while working with the business stakeholders, and the accounting team to ensure a timely close.
  • Manage monthly consolidation of worldwide entities, including preparation of intercompany reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
  • Produce financial monthly reports and statements to track Monthly expenses, Revenue, Cash Position etc.
  • Work closely with bookkeeper and payroll admin, based remotely.
  • Manage quarterly and annual audits by interfacing with auditors, ensuring timely completion of supporting schedules related to financials audits.
  • Prepare periodic and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis
  • Collaborate with VP of Finance in formulating the annual operating budget.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Finance in managing and monitoring the company’s expenditures by preparing the budget versus actual report on a monthly basis, forecast expenditures and help explaining significant Act. Vs. Bud variances


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a four-year college / university.
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience and CPA - preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience preferably within Technology and  SaaS based companies.
  • Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience working with Netsuite accounting software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. An ability to communicate tactfully, verbally and in writing with vendors and customers to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (v-lookup, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Experience working with SalesForce- an advantage.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to be hands-on in a dynamic fast paced start up environment
