QA/ Support Engineer

Support & QA
We are looking for an experienced Support/QA Engineer to join our Escalation and Quality team and help lead the team in the following domains:
QA Test engineer - Be the gatekeeper of the Totango application: responsible for planning, designing, developing, and executing the functional and automated testing (GUI and API)
Capable of defining and maintaining test procedures, test plans, bug tracking and prioritization
Customer support - Manage tier-2 incoming customer related issues: identify, research and reproduce issues and escalate to R&D if necessary
Production acceptance testing - Final Verification of new customer releases and updates
Desired Experience and Skills:
Being a committed team player that can help lead others through challenging customer issues
At least 2 years of experience as a Support/QA Engineer for Enterprise products. Relevant experience in cloud/SaaS products highly desirable.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum process.
Hands on experience with testing tools/technologies: Postman, JIRA.
The desire to understand how things work and how they could break
Paying high attention to details and making sure that everything is working as expected
Having the ability to research, diagnose and resolve technical issues
Experience in answering customer tickets and conducting troubleshooting sessions.
Written and verbal communication skills
These are definitely a big plus:
BS in Computer Science from a University or equivalent military background
Knowledge in scripts development
Experience working with customers
Working knowledge of SQL Databases
